Working with curly and coily hair has led me to specialise in the scalp and hair concerns I regularly encounter among my clients.
My advice is informed by trichology—the study of hair and the scalp. I consider your routine, previous treatments, scalp condition and the changes you have noticed in your hair before recommending an approach.
A trending product or treatment does not automatically belong in your routine. Every recommendation should have a purpose.
That is why I take my time. Together, we build a care plan around your hair’s needs, your goals and what you can realistically maintain at home. When a concern needs medical assessment, recognising that is also part of responsible care.
Ethical colour for textured hair
Colouring curly and coily hair is one of my main specialisations. It requires careful consideration of the texture, condition and treatment history, alongside the colour you want to achieve.
For me, ethical colouring means making considered decisions about what your hair can reasonably handle. It means honest conversations about your goals, thoughtful preparation and a clear aftercare plan. Sometimes, it also means working towards a result over several appointments.
